Pretty In Plaid
This plaid coat was only $15 from Forever 21! I love how this coat can be worn both open, giving it a more oversized look, as well as buttoned all the way up to create a cowl neck type look! I threw on a pink sweater to bring out the stripes of pink on the coat. This is more of a casual look; however, when it is closed, it offers a dressier appearance.
Studs & Stripes
I've had this coat for a few years now and never thought about styling it this way! This look is for the sporty/edgy girl. The studded sneakers allow the look to come across more edgy, rather than the typical chic look the coat would normally be worn for. The gold accents create the perfect balance between sporty and chic.
CCC: Chic Camel Coat
I adore camel coats! They are definitely "in" this season! I suggest you find yourself one because it is a great staple for this time of year! While scrolling through Pinterest, I came across a camel coat styled with a gray cropped sweater and sweater skirt and I knew the second I laid eyes on it, it had to be in my closet! Until this becomes a reality, this gray crop top sweater will suffice. To bring some personality into this outfit, I opted for modified harem pants with polka dots. The black and gold chain necklace helps tie in the camel color from the coat and the black in pants.
"Fur-ever" 21
This fur coat was $14 at Forever 21...yes, you read that correctly! There was another fur coat very similar to this one that I loved; however, it was over $60! So, needless to say I was so thrilled when I came across this beaut! I styled this coat with a plaid dress, also from F21, gold jewelry and black heels with gold zippers. This coat can make any outfit look classy and sophisticated!
Call Me Mrs. Gatsby
Out of all the looks, this one is definitely the classiest. It has a posh feel and would be a great look for a holiday party! This fur coat was graciously given to me by my hair dresser and I couldn't be more in love with it! The three-quarter length sleeves make this very unique, along with the beautiful detailed lining.
I hope I've inspired you to have fun with your coats this season and use them as an accessory to your outfits, especially when you can get them for as little as $15! Why not?! :)
Stay tuned for a twist on another coat themed post coming soon!
