Gym
Gray Area
For this first outfit for the gym, I chose a gray/black high neckline 1/4 zip from TJ Maxx. Also from TJ Maxx, are the black tights. As for shoes, I went with a basic pair of black Nike Roshes. To complete the gym look, I threw on a gray baseball cap. This outfit is perfect for a day of running or if you want to break more of a sweat during your other workouts.
Pop of Plaid
Throwing on my favorite/go-to plaid jacket and tying it around my waist, instantly took this outfit onto the street and gave the outfit a more street-look-vibe. To change it up a bit more, I swapped my baseball cap for a black NYC beanie. The neck line of this zip-up is different from any workout gear I've worn. This little detail adds a bit of style to the active wear; therefore, I can get away with wearing this as a street look. So with that being said, a simple plaid jacket can change your workout wear game!
Nike Neutral
This second look is very comfortable! Like the first, wearing a sweatshirt will break more of a sweat. So, I went with a gray Nike crew neck sweatshirt and a pair of black/white/gray printed cropped tights. For shoes, I went with a pop of white Nike Roshes. This outfit may already be street ready, but what I add to it makes it even more ready!
Accessorize
Sometimes, just one small accessory can make or break an outfit. In this case, it makes it! The other day I thought to myself, "Why don't I try jewelry with one of my sportier outfits?", so I did. I threw on my favorite black choker necklace, and I loved it! So for this outfit, I chose my choker and my black beanie and it completely changed the look of the outfit. It really is the minor details sometimes!
The Bandana
The bandana, in the sense of working out, is used as a sweatband and really...a way to look tough. So for this gym outfit, I sported a neon Nike sports bra and matching bright FILA jacket. For bottoms, I chose a pair of tights with a complementing color from the jacket on the ankle. For shoes, I went with matching blue/green Nike Roshes. This outfit is a great workout outfit. It's simple and comfortable for any workout.
Switch It Up
Switching the bandana from a headband to a neck tie, took this look to the street. This adds style to your workout look. Such a simple change, but also a big change. I also added my beanie again to tie the look together. So when in doubt, take an accessory that is versatile and has plenty of fun, stylish options!
Sister Cameo
GymPop of Neon
My sister wanted to jump on the trend so she came up with her own look similar to the one above. She paired a neon sports bra with a simple black jacket and black sweats. For shoes, she complemented the neon sports bra and threw on her neon Nike shoes. She had a Nike Christmas this year so this blog post is right up her alley! This is a great sporty look!
Pop of Denim
Denim Jacket. That's all it took to change up this look for the street. This takes the look from sporty to casual and cute. I love this look! Jackets can really turn around an outfit!
Slouchy & Tough
This last look gym look is slouchy but gives off a tough look as well. For the shirt, I chose a loose, off the shoulder Nike shirt. For bottoms, I actually threw on a black leotard. So 90's, but I love it! As for shoes, I chose the white Nike Roshes to complement the white in the Nike logo. This outfit is laid back and simple and perfect for a nice workout.
Leather Game Changer
Something as simple as a black leather jacket took this look onto the street. This jacket instantly changed the entire look. What an easy change! I also threw on the same choker and it finished off the edgy look. I love how this look transformed! This one has got to be my favorite! Something as simple as a leather jacket can take your gym look to an edgy and fierce look!

Oh wow, these outfits are brilliant. Both of you look outstanding in these. I am also planning to start working out but first will buy appropriate clothes. I will be buying some winter friendly Carbon 38 workout clothes soon.
