Date Night: Be Adored

If there is ever a time that the question "What do I wear?" is more important to figure out than any other normal day, it's definitely date night! Typically, when you put together an outfit, you think "What would my man like to see on me?" While that's all fine and dandy wanting to impress your man, don't forget to think about YOURSELF and what YOU like and feel the most confident in. Confidence is the best thing a woman can wear. There are so many components to an outfit that can make one feel confident and sexy. Those elements can be your everyday outerwear, but it can also be about what you are wearing underneath. Undergarments that are classy and fashionable, like lace bralettes, are the perfect pieces to peek through your clothing. With all of that being said, I have put together 2 looks for date night, as well as 2 Polyvore sets. If you take anything from this blog post, may it be that you realize how beautiful you are just by being YOU or as I like to say "simPLEIGH" you! Once you recognize that, you will have all the confidence you can dream of and you'll be ready to take on the world...date night or any night for that matter! :)

Sheer & Gold
Dressy/Casual Date Night

For this first date night look, I put together a casual outfit with a touch of class. To play off of Adore Me's intimates line, I chose this delicate black lace top and paired a beach scene bralette with criss-cross straps underneath to add a fun and flirty element to the outfit. To elevate the look even more, I added a touch of gold with a belt, purse, and jewelry. Comfort is pretty important, especially when you're on a date. You want to make sure your focus is on your date and not on straps that are falling down, for example. If comfort is a top priority on your list, a pair of jeans that have an extra special detail is perfect. I could sleep in these amazing flared jeans! For shoes, I chose a chunky black strappy heel. 

Ultimately, this outfit covers both your comfy side and fancy side with simple touches and is perfect for a night out on the town with your love.

All About That Lace...
Casual Date Night

For this second look that I put together, I went for a laid back, yet girly look. When I think of going out on a date, I immediately think of lace. It's already such a versatile fabric, but when you add an extra layer underneath it elevates it entirely. Again, I channeled the Adore Me intimates collection

and paired a lace maroon bralette underneath a lace crop top. I love how this color peeks through the cream color of the top. Skinny jeans are such a laid back piece, but with a top and bralette detail like this, one may not even notice you're wearing your everyday skinny jean. For accessories, I paired my favorite go-to boots for the fall/winter season to give it that extra punch of style, as well as a flower choker. 

Conclusively, this look is casual and stylish and is perfect for a casual lunch date.
