Spring Essentials

When winter is officially over and spring finally comes around, we are more than ready to bring out all of our spring essentials! Am I right or am I right? Everyone has their own signature staples that they can't wait to dig out from the back of their closets; however, you can be easily inspired by other bloggers and fashionistas out there, that you might just add to your list of essentials. So if you haven't figured it out yet, this blog is centered around my go-to spring staples and most, if not all, can easily transition into your summer wardrobe too! I've put together 3 looks and included 6 different essentials within the looks. If you haven't already, it's time to bring out your most beloved spring pieces and get to stylin'!

Bohemian Chic
Spring Essentials:
❈ Head wraps (Scarf)
❈ Tunics
❈ Tall Gladiator Sandals

Boho chic is always a great style for spring, as well as the summer season. Working from top to bottom, my first spring essential that I just recently started becoming obsessed with is scarves. In this case, I turned one into a head wrap. I just adore this look! Scarves are so versatile and can really bring an outfit all together perfectly.

Another spring staple I love to bring out are tunics. Not only are they stylish and chic, but they are super comfortable and easy to style. Whether you're on the beach or out on the town, an easy, breezy tunic makes for a great spring staple.

Last but certainly not least, one of my favorite essentials to pull out once spring has sprung is my pair of gladiator sandals. And they're not just your typical gladiator sandals, they're tall. They take any outfit from ordinary to extraordinary in seconds, especially because they zip up in the back. This outfit just calls for shoes like these. I love how this outfit captures 3 of my favorite spring essentials in one look. If you do it just right, it's okay to sport a few of your fav pieces in one look!

Off the Shoulder
Spring Essentials:
Off the Shoulder Tops/Dresses
Ripped Jeans

For this second look, I've incorporated two must-have staples, first being an off the shoulder top. These tops are very on trend this season and have been all over the place. So you are sure to find one just about anywhere. There is something so effortless and sophisticated about an off the shoulder look. Personally, I'm on the look out for an off the shoulder dress. I love how feminine and dainty a top like this can make a girl look. With the exposed shoulders and collarbone, adding a choker necklace is the perfect final touch to a beautiful top. Shop this blush floral crochet choker here.

The spring season can have its chilly days, so having a go-to pair of distressed denim jeans is a must! I love the character and detail of a good ole pair of ripped jeans. Whether you are sporting a casual outfit or a more dressed up look, ripped jeans can elevate any type of look when skillfully styled. Basically, I'm telling you that you won't be disappointed in investing in a nice pair of ripped jeans! Distressed to impress, ladies! Shop these jeans here.

If ripped jeans aren't your thing, Betabrand has plenty of women's pants to choose from that are perfect for this spring season, or any season for that matter. Shop their women's pants here!

Sporty & Trendy
Spring Essentials:
Scarves
Light Jackets

This last look mixes two pieces that are great essentials for spring. Having a light jacket is a good piece to have within your wardrobe. Especially one that you can throw on as you're walking out the door on those cool spring mornings. Investing in a light jacket is well worth it. I would go for a more neutral color so it will go with most of your outfits.

This outfit's second essential is one of my many scarves. I recently purchased about 11 scarves at my local thrift shop. But guess what? They were only $1 each! Score!!! Light scarves are the perfect accessory to spruce up your spring wardrobe. With this outfit, it added a more girly element to the sporty look. Plus, like I mentioned earlier, scarves are so versatile, especially when it comes to all of the ways you can knot, tie, and wear a scarf. I totally recommend checking out your local thrift store for light scarves. They will add so much personality to your looks this spring.
